Edward Wohl's custom designs are created from a variety of solid hardwoods, including bird's-eye maple, black cherry, white oak and walnut. (Matching veneers may be used in drawer bottoms and cabinet backs.) In each piece, the wood has been chosen for its dramatic figuring or attractive grain, enhanced by a clear, hand-rubbed finish. No stains are used. Edward's creations are noted for their graceful proportions, flowing lines, seamless joinery and silky smoothness even in the hidden parts you'll never see or touch. Most of the pieces displayed here were created in response to an individual customer's request; so the actual items shown are not available for purchase.
